Free time

The Student Council’s Social and Culture Departments offer different kinds of activities for officer students in their free time. Here are some: (Nb! selection may vary between courses depending on time and willing participants)

HUNTING COURSE

The hunting course offers a possibility to study in the evening and take the exam for the hunters degree. The degree is valid and passing the exam entitles the person to hunt after having paid the regional gamekeeping fee. It’s also possible to participate in the exam without taking the lessons.

HYGIENE AND ALCOHOL PASSPORT

The officer students have been organised possibilities to obtain different kinds of certificates to help in their careers. The most common of these is the Hygiene Passport, which has been popular course after course. Course 260 also held an Alcohol Proficiency Exam, to which around 60 officer students took part.

 

BAND AND CHOIR

The course’s band and choir offer amazing shows and breathtakingly beautiful musical performances throughout the course, peaking in the Course Ball. The most musically talented and charismatic officer students apply through the Student Council to either the band or choir, both of which rehearse interleaved with their daily service.
